Research residency
As customs around communal dining change, and questions about seasonality, sustainability and provenance take centre stage, the Mise en Place program aims to foster new culinary cultures by supporting exciting projects in the domain of food and drink.
Merging artistic residency and business incubator, the Mise en Place program offers a unique opportunity to projects working with all things edible. Based at Deli Social in Lausanne, Switzerland, associates benefit from working alongside other practitioners, becoming connected to a larger culinary network, as well as receiving the time, space and facilities to move their ideas forward.
Envisioned as a truly cross-disciplinary program, applications are sought from early-stage projects working in industry, sciences and the arts. Three positions are made available every year to projects chosen by our jury that have the potential to push boundaries, ask meaningful questions and successfully challenge culinary preconceptions.
The research residency is currently being redeveloped, new things are coming soon!
